Treat yourself to a special treat at Sipadan Water Village Resort. The resort is built completely over the water with traditional Bajau style architectures. Each room is an individual cottage with a private balcony. The entire resort is connected with beautifully adorned wooden sidewalks and is attached to the island of Mabul by a foot bridge.
The diving from Sipadan Water Village is quite unique. Within a 20 minute boat ride you will find massive schools of fish (barracuda, jacks, bumphead parrot fish, Moorish idols), sharks, turtles, rays, a healthy population of cephalopods (squid, octopus, and cuttlefish), an abundance of reef fish and a wondrous variety of macro life (finger dragonettes, shrimps, crabs, eels, crab-eye gobies) and so much more! Boat rides around Mabul are only 60 seconds to 8 minutes long. The boat ride to the famed Sipadan Island is only 20 minutes long.
The service at the resort is wonderful. The staff are friendly and professional and eager to please you. Dive masters are well trained and really know the local marine life. It's the kind of place you want to return to over and over again. So, whether you have been to Sipadan Water Village before or not, it's going to be a great trip!
