Would you like to participate in the best Alaska Wildlife Tour EVER?! We are going to a remote lodge in Alaska, that can only be accessed by plane. The lodge is surrounded by 18 million acres of roadless wilderness. The Alaska Wilderness Adventure Lodge will be our home for 6 nights. During the day we will look for (and find) Grizzlies and Walrus, along with some of the other wildlife that is frequently seen - wolves, lynx, moose, beaver, caribou, whales, Dal sheep, seals, fox, sea otters, tundra swan, peregrine falcon, and bald eagles. This is the best time of year to see Grizzlies and cubs. Can you imagine? Little baby Grizzly Bears!! It’s also the best time of year to see Walrus! Do you know ANYONE that has seen a walrus?!
There are only 5 cabins and we will be the only guests at the lodge. They have 5 dedicated aircraft for our exclusive use! The combination of float planes, tundra-tire bush planes, and 14 available boats ensure that no destination is unreachable. They offer amazing flexibility and customization. Each person/couple can choose their activity each day. Some people might want to see Grizzlies while others want to see Walrus or maybe go fishing. No worries – everyone can get to do what they want!
Their experienced Alaskan bush pilots and guides will get us where the wildlife is. Guaranteed. (That’s THEIR word!) They make sure we are not stuck in one or two locations hoping bears and other wildlife will arrive. And, we will never pay any extra for flying, no matter the location. All of the daily fly-outs and boat trips are included in our trip package.
Trip No. 1 will arrive Anchorage on June 6, fly to Iliamna on June 8, return to Anchorage on June 14 and depart for home on June 15.
Trip No. 2 will arrive Anchorage on June 13, fly to Iliamna on June 15, return to Anchorage on June 21 and depart for home on June 22.
