Palau is a warm and sunny country consisting of some 250 islands that lie in the western Pacific Ocean. Palau has a small population of 21,000 people and the most populated island is Koror. It shares maritime boundaries with Indonesia, Philippines and the Federal States of Micronesia.
When to Dive Palau:
Year-round! Even during the rainy season, particularly June to September, conditions can be fabulous with occasional dips in visibility.
Experience Level:
All levels although you can encounter strong currents at some dive sites such as Blue Corner

Low to mid 80's

What you’ll find Underwater:
Sightings of whale sharks and manta rays are more likely from January to April. Green Sea Turtles and Hawksbill Sea Turtles can be seen year round but most frequently during the April to July period. You can also see sharks, large schools of fish, sharks, rays, mandarin fish, World War II wrecks and much more!
Unique Experiences:
A very unique event to be witnessed in Palau is the spawning of the two-spot red snapper or green hump-head parrotfish. Spawning usually takes place around the times of a new moon or full moon and are an otherworldly experience for divers as they involve thousands of these fish.
Check out one of the many activities such as fishing or a kayak tour to see flora such as wild orchids and fauna including the dugong! Or choose a land tour which can include hiking to waterfalls, visiting the stone monoliths, or World War II relics.
