Each fall, the world's largest concentration of polar bears gathers along Hudson Bay, waiting for the ice to form and seal-hunting season to begin. Guided by expert naturalists, our small-group adventures get you closer to polar bears, in greater comfort and safety, than anywhere else on Earth.


When you're standing on the outdoor platform of our Polar Rover, the chill Arctic air feels invigorating. But not as much as the sight of the huge polar bear ambling toward us. Sometimes they are silhouetted against the horizon, slowly moving shadows on the vast expanse of tundra. Other times, one may wander up directly below. Safely elevated, you're nonetheless just feet away as you look down on his shaggy, cream-colored bulk. Noticing us, he stops, sniffs and turns his face our way, curious. We grin with delight. The big bear rises on his haunches to peer at us more deliberately. We watch in wonder. Minutes go by, perhaps an hour, who knows? Out here among the bears, time stands still. Mike and Vickie have led trips ALL over the world.   In addition to a long list of dive destinations and experiences, they have also taken groups to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, to Rwanda to sit with Mountain Gorillas, to Antarctica to smell the penguins, to Peru to stand in amazement at Machu Picchu, to the Amazon River to have “tea” with the chief of a native tribe, to Alaska to watch salmon jump into the mouths of Grizzly Bears and on and on and on! They love to share the world with anyone that has enough adventure in their soul to go explore and experience.

Package Includes


Accommodations, services of Nat Hab's professional Expedition Leader(s) and assistants, Polar Rover excursions, dog

sledding excursion, evening wildlife and cultural presentations, all meals from dinner on Day 1 through breakfast on final

day, cold-weather gear including a parka and boots during your trip, most gratuities, airport transfers on Day 1 and final

day, all activities and entrance fees, all taxes, permits and service fees and round-trip private charter flights between

Winnipeg and Churchill. Trip insurance is included to cover the cost of the trip and CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason).

Additional costs may be incurred if you are over 60 years of age or select any of the optional add-ons.

Pricing: $11,000 per person in a Double room based on double occupancy

  • Trip Insurance is included for ages up through 59 for the price of the trip but may increase after purchasing airfare or additional costs.

  • A passport is required for entry and must be valid for 6 months beyond the dates of your trip.
