One of the last hidden secrets in the Caribbean, St. Eustatius, is a tiny Dutch island (in the eastern Caribbean) dominated by the Quill, a dormant volcano providing breathtaking hiking trails along the ocean, through local rainforest and around it's crater.  Unaffected by mass tourism St. Eustatius is not your average Caribbean island, imagine the Caribbean about 25 or 30 years ago and you get close. Offshore, St. Eustatius National Marine Park's dive sites are considered as one of the best five diving spots in the Caribbean offering a vast range of coral reefs and shipwrecks.

Combining comfort, fun and relaxation, Golden Rock Resort offers guests an authentic experience with a touch of adventure. Beyond the stunning accommodations, the hotel offers an oasis of immaculate gardens beaming with colorful flowers that allow guests to enjoy a relaxing stroll and explore the hotel's 40-acres (16 hectares) of oceanfront land. A large asymmetrical swimming pool with ample lounge chairs and privacy are ideal for lazy days.


Underwater you will experience what much of the Caribbean must have looked like many years ago. The eye-catching volcano “the Quill” dominates the island with its impressive crater and is responsible for the huge amount of lava flows and blocks under the surface. These old labyrinths of lava are now fully overgrown with coral and sponges. Diving is diverse with several unique habitats including walls, historical wrecks, patch reefs, macro dive sites, lava flows, boulder slides, and rock outcroppings.  Combine these reefs with numerous of historical dive sites and more recent sunk wrecks and you got yourself a divers paradise!

  • Trip Insurance is included for ages up through 59 for the price of the trip but may increase after purchasing airfare or additional costs.
  • A supplement will apply to anyone over 59 at an additional cost.

  • A passport is required for entry and must be valid for 6 months beyond the dates of your trip.  Check your passport NOW, it's taking several months to get passports renewed.
