Divi Dive Bonaire is a PADI five-star dive shop located on the property. Divi Dive Bonaire conveniently provides five custom dive boats, guest gear storage, fully equipped dive shop, and an experienced dive crew with over ten years experience diving in Bonaire. Morning, afternoon, and night boat dives are available to guests, and fabulous shore diving is available 24 hours a day from the dive dock or rent a car and explore the island. 


Diving conditions in Bonaire include no strong currents, no big seas and short boat rides- keeping your topside time comfortable. Dense coral growth and a multitude of brightly colored reef fish allow you to enjoy the underwater wonderland.


A short walk from the Divi Flamingo into the town Kralendijk you will find a multitude of foods to eat like sushi, Dutch, Caribbean and Italian.

PADI Master SCUBA Instructor

Instructor since 2010

I grew up about twenty miles from Lake Michigan in Illinois and was always near water. In high school I went to The Lake every weekend, it was the place to go. 


Later I started cruising all over the Caribbean with my wife and snorkeled everywhere. We went to Hawaii and I fell in love with the coral you could see from snorkeling, and made my mind up that as soon as I got back to Dallas I would learn how to scuba. The day after I got back, I went to the local dive shop and signed up, and got certified. Being the type A I am I went on a trip to the Flower Gardens and got my advanced. It wasn’t long after that I was hauling people out of the water and got my rescue certification.


At that point I said may as well be a Divemaster and completed that course. I found out that you needed to be an Assistant Instructor to be a complete assistant so I moved on and became an Instructor.


Outside of diving, which is my passion, I run distance races including the Boston Marathon. 


In addition to teaching at Scubaland Adventures, I am one of the shop's trip leaders.  Come travel with me!

Pricing: $2650 per person in a Standard room based on double occupancy


Add $175 per person dbl occ for a Deluxe room or $225 pp dbl occ for Studio room


Single occupancy add $850


Non divers subtract $300


Not included: International flight, additional insurance for age/costs, extra dives, meals other than breakfast, beverages, rentals, gratuities, island activities/tours, Bonaire entry fee (currently $75pp), anything else not listed.


Deposit: $750 pp (plus additional insurance for age/extra costs if necessary)

Final payment due August 15, 2025

  • Not included:  Flights, gratuities, rental gear, additional insurance to cover flights/age/extra costs, extra dives, night boat dives, rental car, lunch, dinner, beverages, Bonaire entry fee (currently $75pp), and anything else not listed.
  • Please note that additional costs listed are subject to change.

  • Trip Insurance is included for ages up through 59 for the price of the trip but may increase after purchasing airfare or additional costs.
  • A supplement will apply to anyone over 59 at an additional cost.

  • A passport is required for entry and must be valid for 6 months beyond the dates of your trip.
