DIVE CURACAO

2026 Curacao Group Trip

Grab your passports!  Let's go Diving!

Curacao, which is located in the southern Caribbean and outside of the hurricane belt, is known for its boat and shore diving.  Divers can explore colorful sponge gardens, healthy hard corals, and abundant marine life including sea turtles, moray eels, and tropical fish. The island’s calm conditions and excellent visibility make it ideal for beginners, while deeper walls and wrecks offer excitement for advanced divers. Warm water year-round and minimal currents make diving in Curaçao both relaxing and unforgettable. Above water, Curaçao enhances the diving experience with its relaxed atmosphere and cultural richness. The capital, Willemstad, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its pastel-colored waterfront buildings. After a day of diving, visitors can enjoy beachside restaurants, local cuisine, and stunning sunsets.

Rob Aschermann

Master Instructor, Course Director

Instructor since 2001

Robert became certified as an Open Water diver in 1999 at Scubaland Adventures when the one and only Scubaland store was located on North Lamar, next to Desperado’s night club for anyone that can remember that far back. Robert fell in love with SCUBA diving and soon became a PADI Instructor.

Bubbles are a funny thing. When the hi‐tech bubble burst it ended one career for Robert but started a far more rewarding one. In 2003 Robert began his career as a dive store owner by opening Scubaland’s south store on William Cannon.

In 2007 Rob drank the cool‐aid and became a PADI Course Director and the President of Scubaland Adventures. He now focuses most of his attention on running one of the largest and most successful SCUBA franchises in Texas, as well as developing new PADI professionals, Underwater Photography and traveling.

Rob enjoys traveling to Palau, Indonesia, Bonaire, Galapagos, Cozumel and more!  Join him on his next adventure!
