POLICIES

  • QUOTES

Prices are not final until deposit and/or final payment received. Prices and availability can change at any time.

  • RESERVATIONS

Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received in our office and we send you confirmation.

  • PAYMENTS

A non-refundable deposit and this form is required to secure your spot on a trip. Travel Masters

will provide the payment schedule and payment reminders. Occasionally we may need to charge a fee for credit card purchases, if this happens we will alert you prior to payment in case you want to use an alternate form of payment. Please alert us if a credit card should not be used for international payments as some payments may incur a foreign transaction fee. If payments are not received by the dates on the payment schedule, then your room/spot on the trip may be cancelled.

  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Each traveler is responsible for having a passport valid for 6 months beyond the dates of your trip (unless otherwise noted), 2 blank passport pages and visa, if necessary. It is the traveler’s responsibility to know the entry requirements, if you have questions about a country’s entry requirements (including but not limited to passport, visa, vaccination, tests, any other documentation) please contact us. Operators will not refund if you miss your trip due to inadequate travel documentation.

  • AIRLINE

Airline tickets are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise noted. Any change requests (including name changes) will incur additional fees from the airline and Travel Masters. Schedule changes and flight cancellations are out of our control but we will work with the airline to accommodate you on a different flight if necessary. Many countries have a departure tax which may be included in your air ticket. If it is not included, the traveler is responsible for paying the departure tax.

I understand I need to review the airlines and TSA policies on their new procedures due to Covid-19.

Federal law forbids the carriage of certain hazardous materials such as aerosols fireworks and flammable liquids aboard the aircraft. If you do not understand these restrictions contact your airline or go to http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety/.

  • E-TICKET EXPIRATION

E-tickets expire 1 year after date of issue.

  • MEMBERSHIP POINTS/MILES

Travel Masters strives to get you the best pricing for air and hotel. Sometimes the rates we receive cannot accrue membership/loyalty points/miles. Please note that loyalty programs change frequently so actual miles earned may differ due to policy changes.

  • CONCIERGE FEE

We charge a concierge fee when we issue airline tickets. This fee allows us to find the best routes and prices, assign seating, keep up with schedule changes, add frequent flyer numbers, add Known Traveler info, request special meals when necessary and follow up with any other issues that come up between now and when you return from your trip.

  • CANCELLATIONS

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Unused portions of the trip are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Travel Masters highly recommends trip insurance.

  • TRIP CANCELLATION/MEDICAL INSURANCE

Trip cancellation/medical insurance is required on some trips and is highly recommended for all other trips. Travel Masters recommends purchasing trip insurance within 15 days of your deposit to maximize the benefits of your policy but you can purchase insurance up to 24 hours prior to departure. Please let us know if you would like a quote. For specific questions regarding insurance coverage please call Travel Guard directly at 800-826-1300.  We cannot purchase travel insurance until we have the deposit, insurance payment and the Passenger Info form.

Travel insurance generally only covers unforeseen events. Most insurers classified COVID-19 as a 'known event' late January 2020. Please note that most policies have a specific clause stating they do

not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. https://www.travelguard.com/travel-news/coronavirus-advisory

  • MINORS

Minors not traveling with both parents should travel with a signed, notarized affidavit of parental consent to travel outside the country.

  • GROUP TRAVEL

Travel Masters reserves the right to cancel a group trip if a minimum number of travelers is not met. If Travel Masters cancels the trip you will receive a full refund. Travel Masters reserves the right to change the published trip leader or not provide a trip leader depending on the number of travelers.

  • PRICE INCREASES

The prices Travel Masters quotes are valid on the date of the quote but may be higher at the time of purchase due to price changes, or an increase of taxes or fees (imposed by operator, supplier, government or carrier). The airline tickets or trip packages you purchase are subject to supplemental price increases after the date of deposit due to additional charges imposed by a supplier or government. You may be charged additional sums by Travel Masters to offset such increased fees, including fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof.

  • INSECTICIDE

Some countries require insecticide spraying of aircraft prior to a flight or while you are on the aircraft. In such cases, federal law requires that we refer you to DOT’s disinsection website at https://www.transportation.gov/office-policy/aviation-policy/aircraft-disinsectionrequirements.

Hazmat Federal law forbids the carriage of certain hazardous materials such as aerosols fireworks and flammable liquids aboard the aircraft. If you do not understand these restrictions contact your airline or go to http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety/.

  • MEDICAL FITNESS FOR DIVING

Each diver is responsible for making sure they are fit for diving. Some operators will require a signed medical form by a physician for certain medical conditions. If you have a medical condition it is your responsibility to alert us so we can get you any required forms for diving, otherwise the operator may not allow you to dive. There are no refunds if the operator will not allow you to dive.

  • RENTAL EQUIPMENT

Divers are responsible for informing Travel Masters if they need any rental gear. Rental gear may need to be reserved in advance and typically is not included in the package (except tanks and weights).

  • SINGLE OCCUPANCY

For group trips, Travel Masters will try to find travelers a roommate (if requested) but we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate the request. If a roommate cannot be found, a single supplement may apply. For individual trips, a single supplement may apply.

  • TRIP DOCUMENTS

Travel Masters will provide trip documents 2-3 weeks prior to your trip.

  • SAFETY

I understand and acknowledge that travel to many parts of the world may involve the risk of a variety of hazards to my health and/or safety, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism and warfare. Because each traveler’s risk tolerance is different, Travel Masters is not in a position to advise me whether I should travel to any particular place at any particular time. Rather, to assist me in making an informed decision, I should refer to objective third-party sources of travel information, such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov) and the Center for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov).

  • CHANGES

It is understood that the remoteness of the area, local customs and prevailing weather conditions may cause substitution of facilities and/or equipment, minor inconvenience or modification of the itinerary. Also, Travel Masters reserves the right to modify and/or cancel any diving arrangements due to unfavorable weather, or other conditions, and to substitute equipment and facilities. No refunds can be made for cancelled diving arrangements due to adverse weather, mechanical failures, or substitution of equipment and/or facilities or for minor inconvenience.

If the traveler makes any voluntary changes, a change fee will apply.
